Waiting on Wednesday (7)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine.

Just One Day by Gayle Forman
From Goodreads:
A breathtaking journey toward self-discovery and true love, from the author of If I Stay
When sheltered American good girl Allyson "LuLu" Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines.

Just One Day is the first in a sweepingly romantic duet of novels. Willem’s story—Just One Year—is coming soon!

If I Stay and Where She Went are two of my absolute favorite books ever, so of course I'm excited to see what Gayle Forman does next. Everything about this summary sounds amazing. And I'm so happy to hear that this will be another duet! I love the idea of duets as opposed to trilogies, and it worked out really well for If I Stay. Needless to say, I have high hopes for this book!

What are you waiting on this week? Leave links in the comments and I'll check out your posts. :)

  3. I'm in two minds about reading this because I wasn't a huge fan of If I Stay. I might give it a go, though!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  4. I really liked If I stay, but, based on this description, I don't really know if this book would interest me. I do really like the cover though!

  5. This one has been crazy popular the last couple weeks! I'm not a fan of that blurry cover as it has been overdone lately, but the book itself does sound interesting. Thanks for sharing! ^.^ If you would like to check out my Waiting On Wednesday you can do so here. :)
