John Green Week

Awesome banner made by Jeffrey!
IT'S JOHN GREEN WEEK, EVERYONE! *happy dances*
I found out about John Green Week over at I Eat Words a few weeks ago, and I immediately started preparing for this event. By getting a lot of books.

I somehow ended up with all of these (plus another copy of Let it Snow that I acquired after this picture was taken). I'm not really sure how it happened, but hey, I'm not complaining. I distributed the books to my mom and my sister and forced told them to start reading. And I started rereading them all and falling in love with them all over again.

Then, when I went to Barnes and Noble the other day, I left some awesome nerdfighter notes in all of John's books. I forgot to take pictures though. Sorry! But if you happen to be in a Barnes and Noble in New Jersey, be sure to look in copies of Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska, and An Abundance of Katherines!

Today I wore my awesome Nerdfighteria shirt to school, which yeah, okay, a lot of people looked at me weirdly or asked what it meant and it was kind of awkward. But whatever. It was so worth it. I appear to be the only nerdfighter at my school though. Which is unacceptable. I'll need to do something about that...
So I think it's safe to say that I am PREPARED for this week.

And you guys. The Fault in Our Stars comes out in a freaking WEEK! *freaks out* I am so ridiculously excited about this book. I have listened to John reading the first two chapters over and over again on Youtube, and I am just so PUMPED. I kind of want to go hunting in every bookstore ever for Hanklerfished and Yetified copies.

And.
And and and and on January 11th, I am going to NYC for the Tour de Nerdfighting.
I'M GOING TO MEET JOHN AND HANK AND A BUNCH OF AWESOME NERDFIGHTERS!!!!!!
!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!??!!?!??!?!?!!?!??!?!!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
You guys my life is so exciting right now I can't even handle it and omg ahhhhh!

*calms down slightly*
Alright. So anyway, I plan on doing a bunch of posts this week. And since I just reread all his books, I figured I would do a ramble about each of them.
So, hey, I'll make a little schedule!

January 4th- Ramble about An Abundance of Katherines
January 5th- Ramble about Looking for Alaska
January 6th- Ramble about Let it Snow
January 7th- Ramble about Will Grayson, Will Grayson
January 8th- Ramble about Paper Towns
January 9th- Ramble about my expectations/general excitement for The Fault in Our Stars

I will be sharing my favorite characters, scenes, and quotes from all these books (except TFioS obviously), so be sure to come back and check it out :)

As for the 10th... I'm not totally sure yet. I have a few ideas, but I haven't decided yet.
So... it's a surprise!

Also, Megan probably won't be too involved this week, considering she STILL HASN'T READ ANY JOHN GREEN BOOKS. I get it. She intends to, which is cool. It's not like she doesn't want to read them. She's just busy with like, a life and stuff. But still. I am thisclose to never talking to her again until she reads his books. Just kidding. Well, kinda.

So I'm sorry I had nothing really exciting to post today. But be sure to come back tomorrow to see my ramble about An Abundance of Katherines :)

Best Wishes and DFBTA! What an awkward typo omg. DFTBA!
